Ziaur Rahman Zia, (Bengali: জিয়াউর রহমান জিয়া ''Jiẏā'ura Rahamāna Jiẏā'') (July 7, 1975) is a Bangladeshi musician, bassist, songwriter, singer and architect popularly known as the founder and leader of the Bangladeshi independent music group Shironamhin. In addition, he plays MIDI sequences for the compositions and do the production for shironamhin band. Best known as ''Zia'' to young music enthusiasts, is one of today's crop of rock musicians. ==Personal life and education== Zia was born on January 7, 1975 at Eskaton, Dhaka. His father's name is Abdur Rahman and mother's name is Mushida Rahman. He grew up at Nababpur road in Dhaka city. He completed his secondary education from St Gregory's School and higher secondary from Notre Dame college, Dhaka. He earned his BArch degree from BUET. Zia is married to Ahmed Jolly.
